Tokyo Stop Teriyaki in Whidbey Island

I was so happy with my meal today. As always, the best service in town. Friendly service combined with high quality meals and very reasonable prices for the value I receive. During this time of emergency dining restrictions, I loved supporting this restaurant with a drive thru order. Hang in there, Team Tokyo Stop!

I got the chicken and pork with a side of Fox stickers was amazing ever since the new owners I'm taking over the place the place is changed on the inside the quality of food is changed better quality better service better prices five stars for Tokyo stop

I've thought about renaming my first born son to Tokyo Stop Reed. I'm not playing around. These people are serving 🦄 meat. It's the only logical reason as to how they are somehow able to make me think about Tokyo Stop more often than I think about my family. It's gosh-darn magical folks. Speaking of Tokyo Stop..I need to go.

A monthly must have! One of the best places to eat in town, I highly recommend coming here over some of the other options in town, like 123 Thai, Teriyaki Time, DH Buffet, China Harbor, or others.

Love this restaurant in oak harbor! The food is always hot, fresh, tasty, and generous in portion size. The owners and employees there are very kind and hospitable. They offer a "To-go pick up drive thru" that I've yet to utilize, but think is a great concept.

Great chicken fried rice. Hearty portions, real meat.

Cute place with (apparently) new owners; the staff is super friendly. Ordered the chicken teriyaki and tempura prawns combo. You can pay to upgrade to fried rice, which I did. The combo came with salad and a few onion rings, too. Portion was big and food was fantastic. I was a bit sad that I couldn’t finish it all and couldn’t take it with me since I was staying at a hotel. Steady pace of customers point to something awesome here. Definitely stop in.

I have always gone to this shop every time I pass through Oak Harbor. Not only is their food amazing, their decor is great and their staff are all very friendly and helpful. Anything on the menu is always a good idea! Thank you!

Large portions of great teriyaki. I had the spicy teriyaki which came with a small salad and was served on a mound of white rice. There was so much food that I had to take some it to-go. The owner stopped by my table to make sure all was perfect. A great place. I’ll be back here soon!

Nearly authentic udon. If you Googled for ramen like me, it’s not here. The udon tastes nice, but it’s not what you’d expect if you’ve been to Asia.A bit pricey.

The service here was excellent! Every employee we saw was incredibly friendly and polite. The food tasted great and was exactly what we ordered. The portions were generous too!

To be honest I was pretty sceptical driving by this place lol looks like it used to be a Taco Time ! Its exactly what you'd expect from a teriyaki place as far as the menu goes . I had a chicken or #1 and my wife had a C-7 or chicken and gyoza . it was good my only complaint was I like to have pepper oil and sriracha on the table . I think my said there was a sriracha bottle but I didn't see it. I will definitely be back to try more menu items . Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

1. dont make a customer wait 10 more minutes, after they've already waited 30, when they were asked only to wait 20 from the start2. when the customer gives you their name for the order, dont look them in the face confused when theyre ready for pickup cuz you forgot to write it down 3. don't give the constomer the incorrect reciept, then charge $7 extra, when the reciept clearly reflects only $4 extra for a tip. Bar none, the worst service I've ever gotten from any place ever. great job guys. first and only time there ever. tell your future customers that i feel bad for them. 0/10

The food has been consistently very good. It's quick and quantities are very generous. The staff have always been pleasant. It ain't Wolfgang Puck but it's good food in a very low-key place.

Great food and the girl at the counter was such a sweetheart. Will definitely be coming back when I'm on Whidbey. The pork is fantastic and so is the ginger salad.

I forgot how good this place is!! I had the Spicy Teriyaki pork today and it was amazing!!! The staff were all very nice and the interior of the restaurant looked much nicer than what you would expect from the outside. I will be back!!

Stopped by from a recommendation from my friend Alex. Very fast and friendly family service. I got the spicy teriyaki chicken and it was delicious. The amount of food you get for the price is fantastic. The salad that came with the teriyaki was also very good. I would highly recommend Tokyo Stop.

Beef and pork is good. A little pricy but worth the flavor. Don't care for salads but they are pretty fresh.

They are closed for inside drinking right now but have carry out. Good sized portions, leaving flavor and the chicken can include parts of grizzle.

This was my first visit to Tokyo stop. The restaurant was clean & well lit. The woman that took our order was quite nice. I am pleased with the quality as well as quality of food. Sometimes it seems if you get chicken terriaki the chicken is dry. But such was not the case here. I will go back and try something different next time.

The previous operators were good, new ones better. Great place for lunch during the week. It may not be "authentic" Japanese food, but I can't find anywhere online that they claim to be.
